work-shop.

after class I went to the work-shop. We were working in subject-verb agreement. This session was useful . I think that each student is trying to improve his/her abilities to learn English. Besides, teachers struggle every day to push to the students to reach their goals. In the work-shop of today ,the teacher said that there are a big resemblance between all Spanish students because we usually forget to use the subject pronouns in each sentence. I think every student wants to do his/her better effort. In this moment I had headache . I have a lot information in my head. I want to go to take a rest.

I will try again

Today, after college I went to Jamaica. I spent almost four hours traveled by train and bus ( I went and came back) .I was looking the attitude of several people. I saw that almost all people were unfriendly,especially in the train. There were a lot of people reading, playing video games and listening music. Everybody was busy and anybody gave attention to the others people. This behaivor is the same every day. The people are isolated from the other people. I know that each person has his/her own live and usually each person is busy all time. However ,everybody could be more friendly and give a smile to the other people. when one is a strange , a greet could made the day more enjoyable to everybody. I hope that I

Our weekend

I had an enjoyable time the last weekend. My husband, my nephew and I went to husband's cousin house. She got married last march. She invited us to know her new house. We were there on Saturday. They were very happy waiting our visit. They live in a convenient and friendly neighborhood. Their house is small and comfortable, the rooms are spacious enough and the furniture is fancy and modern. On Saturday night we had a delicious dinner and cheesecake like dessert.
after dinner we enjoy listening music and playing cards. We really were delighted. I hope to see them very soon.

A strange personality

Everybody has different personality and the behavior of each person will have a good or bad influence throughout his/her life. Also, each behavior will have a different effect on other peoples. Even though each person has individual personality, there are some personalities that affect the relationship with the people. For example , I don't like these peoples that are egotistical and picky. These kinds of people think that he/ she is better than others and nothing that you make is enough or right. This week I met someone with these characteristics. I think, this chauvinist man will be alone and unhappy for long time , unless he changes his thoughts . He will should learn that the life is more easy if everybody is sensible, sensitive, reasonable and thoughtful. Besides, He will realize that everybody needs tolerance to keep any relationship.

Burbuja

This week our topic was animals and pets. I haven't had my own pet because I don't spend a lot of time taking care of them.

However, at parent's house we always have had pets . My parents love the animals. They have had several kinds of animals at home, such as big and small dogs, cats, birds, parrots, rabbits and one turtle. Burbuja is the last pet that my parents have. She is a small dog. She is friendly and a faithful pet. She likes playing with the children and bustle around the house . Burbuja is a special pet and everybody enjoys her company.

Tthe hobby of my father

My father used to work at one of the most important coffee companies from Colombia. Now, my father is enjoying his retirement. He is still a strong man and he likes to be busy all time. My father has had two big farms for almost forty years. He loves to work at the farms and he usually spend the whole week there. The farms are close to our town. Since I has had memory I remain to my father wakes up very early every single day and he always drinks a cup of coffee without sugar. After breakfast he goes to the farms. He does a lot of things there. For example, he supervises that the worker are doing their work very well, he helps to harvest the fruits crops and he enjoys feeding to the animals. I think that my father has been always a healthy man because he has kept very active doing lot of activities . Besides, he enjoys passionately his time at the farms .

My younger sister

Today I want to write about my younger sister. Her name is Yazmin. She lives in colombia and just finished her studies at the university, the last december. She studied special education, which mean education for children who have physical or mental problem.besides this profession help students with special problems during their process of apprenticeship. She enjoy working with children. She has special ability to treat these children because she is patient and lovely with them. Also, she has grant sense of humor.Therfore, she is able to do a lot of fun activities. She always give enjoyable time for everybody . I praise her for her initiative and perseverance , and I hope that she will has the best future .

My town

Today the weather was wonderful.This day remembered me a lot of things of my home land. The weather of my town is usually hot with pleasant breeze, like today. The people enjoy walking around the parks. Also, my town is surrounded by a lot of trees . There are several varieties of trees, which are bigger and beautiful. The trees usually blossom with yellow and red flowers. Besides, my town has bigger areas cultivated with coffee and its white flowers blossom during octuber. My homeland is amazing place and its dwellers are friendly people.

ONE OF MY GOALS.

I am worried about my educational process. I know that I need to improve my english because it is the key for getting a better future. However, I can't spend a lot of time studying only grammar,comprehension, ect. I want to enhance my knowledge and understanding regarding physical therapy terminology and a lot of topics of physical therapy in english. One of my goals is to pass the physical therapy licensing exam.! It is difficult but not impossible ! . Even though I has been studying several books about this subject, I think that it isn't enough. I hope to pass the placement test and the TOEFL exam very soon. If I get it I might study some specific programs , and it help me to
familiarizing with my profession.

Happy Birthday

On saturday night I am going to have a special dinner at my home. We want to celebrate my nephew's birthday which was on March 17, and my birthday that was yesterday. We invited close friends.They are from colombia too. We don't see frequently because everybody keep very busy . However, we always have good time as get together. My husband is good cook and he likes to prepare especial food, for this ocasion he will made a traditional white cake of our country and an especial marinate food. Today after classes I went to cosco and brought some things for the dinner. Also, I went to the mall and bought me a beautiful dress. I am very excited about our party and I hope thay we will have good time together . Besides , I want to see them againt.

My favorite festival

I was born in a town called Chinchina.which used to be quiet and small. The cultivation of coffee has been one of the most important fact around of my town. Our customs and traditions has grown around of the cultivation of coffee. My town has become a flourish city throuht the commercialization of this product. We have a big festival in April.There are several activities that teach everythings about the process of cultivation the coffee and how the farmer gather up the crops. Also we have a lot of fun, several culturales activities and festivales with musical performances. Everybody enjoy dancing and eating a lot.
I really miss this celebration because I used to have a great time with my family and friends.

the skin

On of the topics of this week was body language. I think that it was very interesting to learn about different customs regarding the act of touching the human body in several counties. I want to talk of one things that is similar for everybody and without this structure the human body will not feel any sensation when is touched for someone.
" The Skin and its process of perception ". The skin covers the entire external surface of the human body. It has multilpes roles in the process of perception . Perception is the way in that the human body use your senses to feel a lot of sensations. It occurs through some structures called receptorses, which permit the that body feels a lot of sensations like cold, heat, pain, pleasure and pressure when someone or something touch the body.
There are several benefits that the human body receives through touching the skin. For example the massage is one techinique that has some benefits, like reduce pain and alleviate the muscular tension. Also , the massage increase the normal motor development of children during their first five years.
The skin is a structure that gives a lot of benefits for the body, then for me the act of touching the skin always will be rigth .
